Terms of Service
Effective 2026-05-16 · Last updated 2026-05-17
By accessing or using ToolBox(the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & age
The Service is intended for users aged 13 or older (16 in the EEA). If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. See the Privacy Policy.
2. Use of tools
All tools on ToolBox are available for personal and commercial use. You may use the output of any tool for any lawful purpose without attribution. Free-tier tools are available at no cost subject to reasonable rate limits. Pro subscriptions unlock additional features such as ad-free usage, batch processing, higher file size limits, and API access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Upload or generate content that is illegal under Indian law or the laws of your jurisdiction, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, content inciting violence, terrorism, or hate against protected groups, defamatory content, or content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the Service, its infrastructure, or its security.
- Scrape, crawl, or rate-limit-bypass the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
- Bypass paywalls, usage limits, or access restrictions.
- Use the Service to process personal data of other people without their consent or a lawful basis.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law or a court order. We may also remove user-generated content (such as community presets, mock API responses, or webhook inbox captures) that violates these Terms, in which case we will act under the safe-harbor framework of Section 79 of India's Information Technology Act, 2000.
Hosted Pro features (Mock API, Webhook Inbox, Flows, Personal MCP)
The Mock API server, Webhook Inbox, Flows, and Personal MCP server expose URLs under our domain that you control. You must not use these surfaces to:
- Host or serve malware, phishing pages, credential-harvesting forms, fake payment pages, or content impersonating any brand, person, or government.
- Distribute content prohibited under IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(1)(b), including CSAM, content inciting violence or terrorism, or content that infringes copyright/trademark you do not own.
- Use Webhook Inbox to receive stolen credentials, exfiltrated data, command-and-control callbacks, or content from systems you are not authorized to receive from.
- Use Webhook Inbox as a relay to attack, scrape, or send unsolicited traffic to third parties.
- Use Personal MCP to expose personal data of third parties to AI providers without a lawful basis under DPDP / GDPR.
Mock responses are served with restrictive security headers (X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff, Content-Security-Policy: default-src 'none'; sandbox, X-Frame-Options: DENY), and the response Content-Type is restricted to a safelist that excludes HTML and JavaScript. We may scan responses and revoke any endpoint without notice.
Hashed sender IPs on Webhook Inbox captures are retained for the capture lifetime as a security measure and may be shared with law enforcement on lawful request.
4. User-submitted content
If you submit content to public areas of the Service (such as community presets or tool-request submissions), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third party's rights.
Takedown:If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or otherwise violates your rights, send a notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) (for DMCA) or India's IT Rules 2021 (for India) to johinjohny144@gmail.com. We will act within 36 hours of receiving a valid notice, as required by Indian law.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. You are responsible for verifying the output of any tool before using it in production, safety-critical, or legally significant contexts.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ToolBox and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Intellectual property
The content, design, and code of ToolBox are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the website source code without our written permission. The output generated by our tools from your input belongs to you.
8. Paid subscriptions
ToolBox offers optional paid Pro subscriptions. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as our Merchant of Record and handles billing, tax collection, invoicing, and refunds. By purchasing a subscription you agree to Dodo Payments' Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
9. Billing and refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) from the date of purchase. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period – you retain Pro access until then.
Refund requests within 14 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund. After 14 days refunds are at our discretion. EU and UK consumers have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Directive and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 respectively; these Terms do not limit those rights. See our Refund Policy.
10. AI-generated output
Certain Pro tools (AI Chat, AI Code Explainer, AI Summarizer, AI Writer, etc.) generate output using AI models. AI output is provided as-is and may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and verifying AI output before relying on it for any purpose. We make no representations or warranties regarding the originality, accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI output. You agree not to claim AI-generated content as solely human-authored where attribution is legally required (for example, academic submissions or regulated filings).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolBoxand its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your use of the Service in violation of law or any third party's rights, or (c) content you submit to the Service.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute is the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
13. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
14. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government action, outages affecting upstream providers (such as Cloudflare, Supabase, or Dodo Payments), or pandemics.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the site or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
